BIOGRAPHY
Colonel Michael A. Corbett is the Chief of HQ ACC Combat Search and Rescue Systems Management Office (CSAR SMO). Col Corbett is responsible for developing requirements, testing and fielding of the next generation CSAR weapons systems to include: the HH-60 Recapitalization program, HH-60G Operational Loss Replacement program, HC-130 Recapitalization program to replace the 40+ year old HC-130, and modernization of Guardian Angel Weapons System to support pararescue equipment needed to perform air/water insertions, medical and rugged terrain operations. He is responsible for monitoring program execution and evaluating trade-offs in cost, schedule, and performance to ensure war fighter requirements are translated into operational capabilities. Colonel Corbett is married to the former Nancy Jean Cox of Pulaski, New York, and has a daughter, Karen and a son Patrick.
